Como prometi à Lany no post da enquete, duas músicas sairiam no Natal. Ontem foi “The Balad of Ron and Hermione” e hoje decidi postar “Hijacked”. As músicas “The Boy With the Bread”, “Girl on Fire” e “Hijacked” ficaram empatadas na enquete, então usei o critério da música que fiz primeiro. rs

“Hijacked” é uma música muito dramática e fica bem longe de uma baladinha. Fiz essa música logo depois de ler Mockinjay [A Esperança, no Brasil], que é o terceiro e último livro da série Jogos Vorazes. A música saiu muito rápido, fiz poucos ajustes e poucas mudanças na letra. Curiosamente, eu nunca escrevi a letra nem as notas, ela simplesmente não saía da minha cabeça. A idéia foi mesmo relatar a experiência do personagem Peeta Mellark, um dos principais da série. Quem já leu o livro provavelmente vai entender porque a música é meio “confusa”.
